It’s been just over two years since the original launch of WriteMapper as a macOS app. Today, we’re glad to be adding another chapter to the WriteMapper story in announcing WriteMapper for iPhone! For it, we’ve added a few new features which make the interaction experience on your iPhone even better:
Pure Black Dark Mode
WriteMapper has had the Dark Mode feature since its launch, and now the iPhone is getting a Pure Black option too. Mind maps have never looked more stunningly vibrant, especially on the newer iPhone models that employ OLED screens.
Haptic Touch Support
WriteMapper now also delivers haptic feedback upon interaction with elements in the app, whether when making selections or dragging and dropping nodes on a mind map, enabled by making full use of the Taptic Engine on iPhone devices.
iOS 13 Compatibility
Besides the app directly integrating with your device’s dark mode settings, we’ve also made sure WriteMapper for iPhone makes best use of what’s new on iOS 13, including the new share extension, text editing & undo/redo gestures, and more!
To thank customers who’ve previously purchased WriteMapper on desktop or iPad, we’ve decided to put up a launch pricing of 50% off (US$4.99-tier purchase, instead of US$9.99-tier) for two weeks on the WriteMapper for iPhone in-app purchase, until October 11th for you. Due to the way the App Store works, everyone can take advantage of this – so make sure you don’t miss it!
WriteMapper for iPhone is now available on the App Store, where you can also take the free trial for a spin to test out the latest features we released today. We hope you’re going to enjoy WriteMapper for iPhone. Please let us know what you think by joining in the conversation at our launch on Product Hunt!
Update: WriteMapper 2.8.1 has been submitted to Apple and should be available soon, which fixes a previous issue with Dark Mode not working on the release version available on the App Store.
