How do I know which version of WriteMapper is my license code meant to be used with?

They may be identified by their prefix.

License codes are not cross-compatible across each major version of the WriteMapper app.

Each major version of the app has their own type of license code that is valid for use in that version.

WriteMapper 4 License Codes

License codes for version 4.x.x of WriteMapper are prefixed with “WM4-“, and are 33 characters long.

Example: WM4-ABCD-ABCD-ABCD-ABCD-ABCD-ABCD

WriteMapper 3 License Codes

License codes for version 3.x.x of WriteMapper are prefixed with “WM3-“, and are 33 characters long.

WriteMapper 2 License Codes

License codes for version 2.x.x of WriteMapper do not have a particular prefix, and are 29 characters long.

Logging into the License Manager will display which version of the app your license code is meant for, alongside each license code you have.
