A Quick Update

Thanks everyone for the great feedback on WriteMapper 2 – this has been a fantastic launch! Here’s a quick update on how things are going:

Launch Reception

We’re delighted to see that WriteMapper 2 is receiving many positive responses from new and past customers alike. We ended our launch on Product Hunt at an unprecedented #4 Product of the Day, and we got mentioned on Cult of Mac as well. To all customers, thank you for purchasing WriteMapper and supporting its development!

Launch Pricing

We’re glad to be extending our launch pricing for another 7 days from the date of this post, to give new users who’ve just discovered WriteMapper more time to evaluate the app. Also, on the iOS App Store, please note that you don’t need to do anything to get the discount – the price you see in the App Store already has the discount applied. If you’re thinking of purchasing WriteMapper 2, this is the best time to get it.

Note on unzipping on macOS

Some of our users have reported an issue where the app would crash upon their first time running it, on macOS. This is an issue due to using non-default unzipping apps such as Unarchiver. To fix this, you’ll need to use the default Archive Utility.app to unzip the downloaded file. More details may be found in this support article we’ve just published.
